If while crossing the street you have the feeling that you’re falling into the sea water that´s because you are suffering the effects of anamorphism. This is a procedure that defies the laws of perspective by examining the delimitation of the drawing.
In other words, this is forcing the viewer to observe an image from a particular and perfectly defined point of view . Thus, the picture seems distorted as if a lens had been placed in front of it, which produces the optical illusion of three-dimensionality.
The British artist, Julian Beever is a great specialist in mastering this technique. He has worked in several countries, including Spain.
He lives between the walls of the offices of the advertising companies that hire him and a pile of chalk scattered on the floor when he disposes to paint on the street.

Like him, the American architect based in Rome, Kurt Wenner also stands out in this field. This is a very media artist and internationally recognized by the large murals he has painted in chalk.
